Natural and white

Proff Work Top Oil is suitable for use on all untreated interior kitchen work tops and furniture and woodwork in general. Work Top Oil offers a strong protection against fluids and dirt and produces a hard wearing surface. Work Top Oil natural enhances the natural grain of the wood whereas Work Top Oil white lends a white wash finish either to pine or oak enhancing also the natural grain. Work Top oil is a fast drying oil. Polish the oil well inside the wood grain either by hand or with small hand buffer.

Work Instruction:

1. Make sure that the wood is freshly sanded and cleaned with Intensive Wood Cleaner. Ensure that any dirt or stains are removed before the application of the oil. The wood must be dry before applying the oil.

2. Stir the can with paint stick and ensure, in case of coloured oil that all white pigments are evenly distributed in material before application. Apply oil with a short haired paint roller or brush. Let the oil penetrate the wood grain for up to 15 min. and if dry spot appear, reapply oil. Now work the oil into the wood grain with white polishing pad from hand or with hand buffer.

3. If not all oil could be worked into the wood grain, remove any excess oil. The oil may also be sanded into the grain using fine 400 grit - sand lengthwise of the wood grain.

4. Now buff the complete area with a white pad.

5. After a 6 hour pre-drying of the area, buff the whole area again with white pad and reapply oil if the surface does not look highly saturated.

6. Leave the oiled area to dry for 24 hours. Do not expose the woodwork to water during drying time.

7. Use Proff Oil Mouse for maintenance of oiled work tops and furniture.

Risk of self ignition: sanding dust and oil wetted cloths and pads must be disposed of either by soaking in water or burnt immediately after use. Risk of self ignition.

Disposal: residues and containers are disposed of in accordance with local government regulations.

Classification of the substance or mixture: This product is not classified as dangerous.

  • 1. Disposal: Empty containers and product residue disposed of according to regional rules and regulations.
  • 2. Storage: Keep in tightly closed original packaging. Do not expose to heat (e.g. sunlight). Store frost-free and out the reach of children.
  • 3. Note!! Please always make a test coat on the surface for controlling the compatibility
  • 4. Warning: Rags, pads, or waste soaked with oil may self ignite if improperly discarded. Immediately after use, place all rags and waste in a sealed, water filled bucket for prober disposal.
