Maintenance Paste

For maintenance of oil and waxed floors in natural and white

Work Instruction:

1. Start cleaning the floor with Intensive Wood Cleaner. Mix 125ml of Intensive Wood Cleaner into 5 liters of lukewarm water. Always two buckets – one with Wood Cleaner water and one with rinsing water and leave floor to dry for 4 to 8 hours after cleaning.

2. Press a small quantity of Maintenance Paste onto the floor - enough to maintain 1 to 2 m2 at the time. Buff immediately with white polishing pad under floor machine. Ensure that Maintenance Paste is buffed well into wood grain and if necessary spread to next part if excess paste appears.

3. Ensure that Maintenance Paste is buffed well into the wood grain leaving a uniformly saturated oiled surface. The surface should appear silk matt and any excess material should be transferred to next area. Continue till whole area has been maintained with Maintenance Paste.

4. Note that the Maintenance Paste is fast drying and therefore finish the application area by area. In case of sticky surface, sprinkle or spray minor quantity of Proff Thinner.

5. Leave surface to dry for 4hours at 18 degrees Celsius. After initial drying, the floor can be used with caution. Do not expose to water till after complete drying of Maintenance Paste.

6. Leave the oiled area to dry for 24 hours. Do not expose the floor to water during drying time.
